Must-Visit

Excellent

The city of Houston Texas is the fourth most populous city in the US. It has a business centre associated with the oil industry and one of the country's largest medical centres. But it also offers its residents and visitors a lot of great culture. The Museum of Fine Arts, MFAH, is one of those spectacular attractions of the rich state. This art space was founded in 1900 and has a collection of over 56,000 works that embrace art from antiquity to contemporary. The building is in itself a work of art. It's modern, spacious and beautifully designed. It's in the city's art corridor, near the Museum of Natural Arts, the Children's Museum and the City Zoo.

The place is big

Great

Huge! they have permanent exhibits and sometimes there are limited time exhibits. Last time I went there was a Michael Angelo exhibit which we had to pay for (want cheap) but we thought it's Michael Angelo! it was nice, had good information.

But we were disappointed that there were no pieces by him on display! except one thing that was not significant to advertise the exhibit being a Michael Angelo exhibit...

I can't remember what it was but it either want a complete piece or not an original.
