A Pitanza restaurant is located in the heart of the coastal town of Pontedeume in the province of A Coruña. It offers traditional Galician cuisine of great quality, which brings a touch of creativity and prepared with a selection of the best ingredients that the earth itself offers. Dishes of meat, fresh fish and seafood are carefully prepared. The "Cantina do Rio Coves" is situated in Pontedeume, near Ombre. It is located in a stone building with a sign indicating in white letters on black background "Cantina do river Coves". The bar has two indoor areas but in good weather I recommend having drinks under the pergolas. The spot provides traveler relaxation. You can have a beer, wine, soda ..., well, anything. You can take it to one of the spikes they offer. You will not have to raise your voice to make you hear or listen to others. That said, you can relax quietly sipping something. The menu offers variety of products to consumer tastes. Prices vary depending on what is going to take, but in any case the quality is good and the service excellent. I recommend it!
The Obradoiro is a familiar place where they make the best pies in the world! They offer many types like octopus, scallops, raxo and tuna, the first two a bit more expensive. They also have delicious homemade scones, cakes and pies, of course. Prices are maybe a little higher than other places but the quality is incomparable! If you're visiting and you want to take a good gift back to your land, what better than a sweet pie or area here. We spent two small pies, one of raxo and other tuna (each of more than 1.5 kg), a cake of Pontedeume (like Santiago cake), one cream bolla (typical cake people, delicious) Chocolate and Neapolitan incredibly delicious (I put the photo) and it cost us € 62 all. The pictures of the pies and buns do not get because we plugged in the car and you would see nothing, but I tell you, the smell is killing us!
Pastry selling, homemade products and image... Not at all. This is a regular cafe for breakfast, with more variety because they also serve cakes, cookies and cupcakes of various types. Prices are normal and service appropriate.
Brasilia offers the best service to its clients. It also offers the best traditional meals as well as an excellent wine cellar with all kinds of wines at ideal temperature and an extensive menu that offers all kinds of desserts to finish off with. It is located in Pontedeume.
The Coves Rio Cantina restaurant is located in a cove at the confluence of the Coves and Eume rivers, where they flow into the Atlantic Ocean. It is also situated near the center of the historic village of Pontedeume. Cantina River Coves has a rich gastronomic tradition offering hunting trips, fishing and mushrooms collecting. Memorable dishes like cod cheeks with mushrooms, seaweed with hedgehog, apple pie and especially the costrada. It is perhaps the most representative dish of Pontedeume and consists of several layers of a special dough that are interspersed with layers of meat, fish and shellfish, thus achieving a kind of pie with several floors.
We discovered this restaurant by accident while looking for a place to eat. We went back 6 times in the 15 days we were on holiday in the area. The quality of the food is excellent and the portions very generous at reasonable prices. Roast beef with potatoes (delicious) for instance cost 9 euros or steak (huge) 14 euros. Only one waiter waiting tables but the service is fast.
