Venetian Pool
(2)
This is a historic place in Miami that will send you back in time to the era of vintage Hollywood. In famous Coral Gabels, you'll find a public swimming pool that is on the National Register of Historic Places in Miami. Ranging from 4 to 8 feet deep, its glamorous atmosphere means that events are often held here. It's free to enter, but can also serve as a starting point for a tour of this glamorous mansion-lined neighborhood. If the heat is unbearable, you can swim as long as you like for only $10.00.

Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa
The Mystic Marriot Red Door Spa is a relaxing and luxurious spa located inside the Mystic Marriot. I have been to the Red Door Spa several times and each time the experience was delightful. At the Red Door Spa you can have a plethora of treatments, from massages, to haircuts, to manicures and pedicures, or facials. You also can have a free class of flavored water, tea, coffee, and snacks while perusing some magazines. The technicians are always very knowledgeable and allow you to have a relaxing experience. A gift certificate to the Red Door Spa is always the perfect gift for any occasion.

Blissworks Yoga and Healing Arts
Blissworks Yoga and Healing Arts is one of my favorite yoga studios in southeastern Connecticut. Open since 2004, Blissworks offers numerous classes, from beginner to experienced, taught by eight certified and highly experienced teachers. They offer Vinyasa, Yin, and Ashtanga Yoga practices, as well as meditation and yoga with a focus on abs. Additionally, Blissworks hosts workshops and has massages. I find the community at Blissworks very relaxed and non-judgmental (unlike other yoga studios I've practiced at before). Whether you are a beginner or have been practicing yoga for years I'd suggest visiting Blissworks Yoga and Healing Arts studio.
