To begin I'll start by saying we spent six days at this hotel, and every day we had a free show, various prosessional shows which were presented by the artistic group from the hotel. A cozy hotel in the style of the Caribbean with calm and beautiful beaches, free buffet 23 hours a day, and open bar all day. Spacious and comfortable rooms with sea view. In addition the hotel has laundry service, internet, call center, gift shop, tennis court, table tennis, pool, snooker and volleyball, an excellent place where you can relax and enjoy yourself with friends or family.
This hotel is very well located on one of the best beaches in Varadero. We spent a lovely few days there, the only problem was that the bungalow area is quite far from the hotel but it has a train that passes every moment to move you from one place to another. It is suitable for couples and families. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful and through this train you can go to the other 2 resorts of the same chain.
I loved it! It is only a 2 minutes walk from the beach, and I spent the entire day enjoying the very quiet area. The house was great, unpretentious, and very comfortable. At night just down the street, there is a bar where they have great shows. I had a great time with the beach nearby. I will undoubtedly return.
What can I say ... Colorful, relaxing. Excellent views, a lobby of dreams where they prepared the best cocktails from around the resort. Culinary knowledge demonstrating true devotion to the lobster, ummm ... let's leave it for now.
The Barcelo Solymar, situated in the resort of Varadero, is the perfect place for family tourism and couples and diving enthusiasts and water sports in general. Separated by a 25-minute drive from the International Air Terminal Juan Gualberto Gomez.
After visiting Havana during our graduation trip (the best of the trip!), we traveled to Varadero to enjoy the beach, and the famous all-inclusive hotels in this area. We stayed at the Hotel Playa Caleta, which is one of the most known in the region, a good resort that offers comfort, good food and drinks, for a low price. The resort is a bit away from other hotels, so it is one of the quieter ones, but a taxi is needed (especially at night, for those who want to enjoy the shows of the other resorts). I advise you to arrange excursions and activities on offer, and also enjoy the natural environment!
I stayed at the Paradisus Princesa del Mar Hotel in Varadero and it was super successful. Though it is a bit more expensive, you can choose Royal Service, the difference is noticeable. Everything put in the journal is totally real, the pool service was great, the Stewardship service was excellent too, well our butler Miguel was a charm and was aware of everything. The negative (because there's always something) was the bamboo restaurant (the East) as the food was a bit lacking and the service was very, very bad. Another thing was that there was a gap and sometimes the smell was a bit annoying. Beware of mosquitoes but after using several brands I found that Autan was better. For everything else my vacation at this hotel was great. If someone wants to know more information or advice tell me I'll be happy to help. I stayed on October 1, 2009.
I was lucky enough to travel to this beautiful island and visit some of the cities. This is a great place to stay overnight, seeing the reality of the capital from the inside, within a beautiful Cuban family. You'll sleep and eat well here, and you'll definitely be made to feel at home. Wonderful!
